Sottano

Lujan de Cuyo

Overview

Owned by three brothers, this efficient winery has quirky artwork and beautifully painted barrels decorating the reception and tasting rooms.

Sottano makes eight different wines and their icon wine is called Judas, as one of the brothers secretly shared it with a journalist before it was formally released. The other brothers only found out when they saw rave reviews printed in the media. We suppose there are worse betrayals!

Wine to try: The aforementioned Judas, a 100% Malbec whose 2010 vintage received 91 points from Wine Spectator
