Catena Zapata

Lujan de Cuyo

Overview

Top scoring wines such as Argentina’s first 98 point wine with Robert Parker, and family fame as the pioneers of making Malbec in Argentina make this a can’t miss winery for most Argentine wine lovers.

Catena Zapata is undoubtedly one of the most recognized labels from Argentina around the globe. The winery itself is shaped as a Mayan pyramid in homage to the native dwellers that originally inhabited South America. Tours are offered daily, and visitors can also opt for a full tasting, with their most prized wines at the end of the tour. Remember, as with all other wineries in Mendoza, booking in advance is a must.
