Walter Bressia used to produce wines for many different wineries in Mendoza. However, in 2003, he decided to follow his dream of making his own wines, and started Bodega Bressia with his wife and children.
Set among vineyards and a peaceful garden with a babbling brook, the winery is a beautiful villa style design. The barrel room has a pretty motif with the Bressia cherub attractively lit over some of the oak barrels.
During the tour you can see the complete winemaking process, and the winery's focus on highest quality, and a smaller quantity of wines, using smaller tanks is clear.
You will learn all about the wines by a Bressia family member, in a warm, relaxed setting. Bressia produces red wines, white wines, sparkling wine and even their own grappa. All are incredibly fabulous.
Wine to try: Don't miss one wine from their Montegraelo collection. 2006 was a particularly amazing year for this entire line.
This is a wine to watch! This dark, almost black-red wine blends a nose of intriguing dark forest berry aromas with juicy, fruity blackberry and plum flavors on the palate
Delicate aromas and rich color allude to the dusty minerality that swirls in the glass with intense fruit and some black pepper.
