Overview

Located in Maipu inside of Bodega La Rural, just 16 km outside of Mendoza city, a unique wine museum invites you to experience the history of winemaking at La Rural. Located in front of Don Felipe Rutini's original residence, it has become the most important wine museum in the Americas, on par with many French, Italian and South African museums.

A guided tour will take you through the museum and share the history of Don Felipe Rutini, from his Italian roots and the story leading up to when he planted the first vines of what later became Bodega La Rural.

The museum features 4500 artifacts, including machinery, carriages, presses and other elements that contributed to the Mendoza wine industry. 

After the tour, guests can visit the museum's wine bar for a tasting.
